Accommodation
St Catharine's College
Accommodation owned by St Catharine’s College has been reserved for delegates.
It is based at St Chad’s hostel on Grange Road, a 15-minute walk from the conference venue.
Each room is a single, lockable room, in an apartment of 4-5 rooms, with shared bathroom and shower facilities.
Breakfast is included and is served from St Catharine’s main site on Trumpington Street.
There is a Porters Lodge on site, with porters on duty 24 hours a day.
Bedrooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival; check out is by 10am on the departure day.
Process for booking a room
The system will operate in two stages:
Stage 1: Between early October and 29 November 2026, rooms will be offered first to successful applicants on the priority list for accommodation.
Stage 2: From 30 November 2026, any remaining rooms will be available to book on a first-come-first-served basis to all registered delegates.
Payment
The cost for 2027 is £58.25 per night.
A link to the payment website will be sent to successful applicants. A passcode is required to book accommodation and this will be sent to those on priority list first, then to registered delegates from 30 November.
We will maintain a waiting list for delegates if all the rooms are sold-out. Those on the waiting list will be alerted should a room become available at a later date.
Refunds
We will refund a booking in full if requested before 12 February 2027. Refunds after this date are not possible. Refunds will be made to the card used to pay for the accommodation.
Alternative accommodation
Delegates are very welcome to stay elsewhere in Cambridge or with friends.
For those looking for alternative accommodation, the Cambridge Youth Hostel is close by.
Other Cambridge colleges may advertise student rooms via University Rooms.
There are many other options which can be found via the usual hotel and booking websites.
